as many of you know this film is very special to me. it's just impossible to forget what saawariya gave me besides sonabir. i got so many amazing friends online just because of this film. i still remember how we were just goign MAd over everything related to this film . we used to do all nighters in order to catch a news snippet a picture promo of the film. those were the times we used to finish a chat club in like 1 day lol. we used to analyze everything from the hand holding to sonam's nails to bir's socks ( if visible) lol. i never felt the same way about any other film like how i felt about this. for me Saawariya is special and will always remain special because it gave me FRIENDS & SONAM RANBIR THE GOLDEN JODI. MISS THEM SO MUCH . they are just crazy when they r together. haven't felt the same with any other co-star they worked with so far. hope they sign a film soon
so a full post dedicated to saawariya /sonabir as it was saawariya anniversary yesterday lol i know am late but who cares really caz saawariya/sonabir r in my heart

i watched it yesterday alone and again today with my parents lol and i enjoyed it a lot both times. it's one of the funniest films in recent times and the best part for me is that the jokes are not vulgar at all and you feel no embarrassment while watching it with your family unlike many other comedy flicks made these days( read do knot disturb and kambakht ishq. both failed miserable in effort to make anyone laugh but let's just stop here because this is about ajab prem ki ghazab kahani). it's very sweet and simple movie.
So, as we know ,the movie is about Prem (Ranbir Kapoor) who is is the president of ‘Happy Club’ which has a few simple rules - be happy, make others happy, unite couples . his father things that he is good for nothing and is ruining his life. then one day he sees jenny( katrina kaif and it's love at first sight. rest i am not going to tell you. you should watch the movie to know the rest lol.
one thing i am sure about is it's THE BEST comedy of 2009. Highly entertaining and it actually does have a proper story unlike the other comedies where the story keeps going in circle or doesn't make any sense at all. lol
coming to the performances Ranbir is the true winner from the moment u see him onscreen u fall in love with him and then there's no looking back. Doing comedies is very very very difficult but the boy is just amazing at whatever he does be it his emotional scenes or the super mad follow me seq you just can't help it but say oh boy you are amazing. In fact my dad who never say anything about any stars or movies liked him so much and said that the boy is brilliant and is going to take the legacy forward and make his parents proud.This made me so happy and proud to be a Ranbir fan. there were points i wanted to go and hug prem. no one could've done it better then Ranbir. he brought life to the character.
katrina is a surprise package. she actually does act in this movie instead of only smiling and do i need to say she's simply stunning. loved jenny i think it's my most fav kat chracter ever. ranbir kat's chemistry is too good.She can seriously melt anyone's heart. I am so happy to say she performed extremely well. I was actually worried how she'd handle comedy where she has an important role. But she totally rocked it. I did not see Katrina Kaif onscreen, I saw Jenny and only Jenny. Jenny is a total sweetheart.her crying scenes make u cry her smiling laughing scenes make u smile,cry.
the music is rocking it's definitely a plus point. i am obsessed with the album but a bit disappointed at the choreography and the way they r put in the film.
complaints.
the jail scene should've been in the movie and oh by god song/video or any remix video at the end with credits instead of tera hone laga hoon video again
they should've kept the whole tera hone laga hoon i the movies instead of cutting it into half

yes it's the day again when we were blessed with a person like Shahrukh khan who is undoubtedly the King of bollywood. a gr8 human being and a Superb actor. my first crush lol. no one can ever take ur place in my heart others came and make their own space but YOU are still my Pehla pyar and will always remain special tome. i have no words to express my feelings for u. one thing is for sure that i love u more each day because of the down to earth nature,the humbleness and the fact that success didn't changed u at all.love you Shahrukh. may you have many many more birthdays to come

i think it's Needless to say am IN LOVE with it.Afterall it's shahid genelia i just had to fall in love with it.Besides the movie looks fresh and am having very positive feeling about it.the music is wow and shahid gen chemistry is already sparkling.i'll do loads of more stuff from it for sure.the post also contain some randoms tuff and the first installment of theme jodi's

so i was watching dulhan hum le jayenge and this struck my mind *lol* being a huge 90's films movie buff i miss these golden jodi's and i miss the oldies.i hardly anyone now makes stuff from young SRK,salman aamir movie u know what i mean the old classics so i thought starting tonight i'll do an update (mainly icons) on one classic jodi once a week/month depending on the response of this.i just thought of having a little tribute kind of thing

I am so so so hyper right now.First of all it was my 2 khans walking the ramp obv it was natural for em to be hyper and excited but o boy Gauri was surprise Package she stunned me for the first time ever i ignored SRK ( god yeh bhi din aana tha) and stared at gauri .She was JUST perfect.perfect attitide,perfect dress and A lot of confidence.u go Gauri .i know people hate her and all but i always loved Gauri and today she made me even more proud. on a second thought seeing my 2 khan boys side by side is absolute Pleasure i just cannot express my happiness in words ah i was afraid that it'll be ranbir on SRK's Side but no Thank God it was my own Imran on my Hubby #1's side lol. right now there r not many pics out so posting the video.
p.s EEXpect a HUGE update on Kjo's show and did some Saifeena stuff ( another surprise loving saifeena right now) and genelia .BUT BUT i missed my sunshine girl Sonam on ramp How i wished she was there along SRK & imran.*dreams*. this was no doubt the best show

ok so i don't know if i ever said this but i love this film . i don't know every time i watch it it casts a spell on me there's something super special about it which cannot be described in words. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is true genious. the music just is so touching and soothing no doubt on of the best albums ever. some of the tracks are haunting .i always get goosebumps listening to them.

the whole eid sequence
the climax where she leaves him and the little confrontation before that( always makes me cry)

the mysterious ending of raj did he die? did he survives? was he an angel? was he even real? ( there r so many ways this movie can be interpreted i remember when it was released me and some of my close friends from sk.net has this whole debate discussing the different views of how each of us visualized and understood it and it was just amazing to see every person pointing out something totally different. ahhhhhhhhhhh miss saawariya days.

sorry for the delay guys just been busy with work.i watched it on wednesday and since then i am totally going crazy. Let me start this post with saying this it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to everyone.
the movie is a breeze of fresh air.the story is old but the treatment is fresh yes at times it did became predictable but overall it works Big time.you won't be disappointed by it.The movie is about Siddharth Mehra a.k.a Sid (Ranbir Kapoor) who is a rich spoiled brat, but with a heart of gold. sid has no motivation in life.he's the kind of guy who has no plans for his upcoming life still he's happy with the way he lives and loves spending his father’s hard-earned fortune( watch kya karoon song.Beautifully shot ). His world, like most guys of his age, is surrounded by friends, cars and gaming consoles. He cannot live without his camera and ipod. then one day he meets Aisha(konkona) and soon his journey towards his transformation to a mature man starts.
once you start watching the film you instantly figure it out that basically it is going to be about sid's realizing his responsibilities and becoming a mature,young man.
ayan's direction is first rate.from nowhere can you tell it's his first movie in fact i am amazed at his talent i was seriously having doubts if Ayan really directed it.when is aw his picture for the first time and also,saw him at few events he seems very childish kind of boy i thought the movie will be ok and nothing gr8 but honestly,am amazed at his direction and his sensibilities.No Doubt Wake up sid is one of my favorite movies now. Way to go Ayan keep making more films like WUS and you will be on top directors soon.
Ranbir is Amazing as sid i don't think anyone else would've played the role this well. He makes you relate to Sid. As soon as you see Sid onscreen you feel a connection and you totally start believing in his character.his expressions are mind blowing.i can proudly say that it's Ranbir's Best work till now ( i love saawariya but that's more because of sonam)and he has improved a lot which is great. Sid makes you laugh at his stupid silly expressions and totally make you go aw at the cuteness. i don't know about others but ranbir was way too good in emotional scenes he brought tears to my eyes.Watch the scene where he misses his mom seeing the little kid with his mother and goes to meet her.his hesitation and love is totally reflected in his eyes.the confrontation with his dad is too good.the scene where he ends up at aisha's door is Magnificent. i love the subtleness of the scene how he hugs aisha and cries but in very mature way.no melodrama.no nautanki.just like a real man would do.
koko i mean do i even need to praise her.we all know she's brilliant.once again she made aisha shine.Amazing and bir koko chemistry is amazing watch the last scene it's my fav.
